This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.zumbase.com (the “Site”).

Personal information we collect


When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

 

WHY DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION?  We need information to provide the basic services this site offers, as well as to provide you with the best service.  Some of this information helps us to determine if there are issues occurring with a part of the site, or if there are technical problems with checkout and payment.  Other information simply helps us know whether someone is who they say they are in order to avoid fraudulent activity.  None of this information is sold or traded, it's solely for use to operate and improve Zumbase and it's customers.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.


- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
 
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use your personal information?


We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:


- Communicate with you;


- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and


- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Sharing you personal Information

WE DO NOT SELL YOUR INFORMATION - all information we get from you is used to serve you in the best way possible and is strictly used to conduct business on this site.

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.

Do not track
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

Payment Methods

 

Accepted and Not Accepted Payment Methods:

We can accept payments from all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, Diners, CUP, JCB and Maestro.  We also accept payments made using PayPal.

We do NOT accept payments via: check, cash, cashier's check, wire transfer, bank transfer, coupons, or other methods not described in the previous paragraph.

Shipping & Returns

 

Please note that return procedures are different from the guarantee - guarantee is for items that do not meet standards and/or may be defective in some way.  Returns are for items purchased which have no issues but are not wanted.

Shipping costs are non-refundable except in the case of defective items.

Communication is important.  If there is an issue with your order, we're happy to work with you if you contact us at standup@zumbase.com to work out the best solution.  We would prefer to discuss the solution with you.  Our standard return policy is explained below:

We have a 45-day return policy. If 45 days have passed since your purchase, and we do not have the item back in our possession unfortunately, we can’t offer you a return refund or exchange.  Please note that a return is for an item that functions as expected but is simply not wanted - it is not subject to our guarantee.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

To process the return, please send us an email to standup@zumbase.com with your name, order number, and the item which you are returning.

Not all products are applicable for returns, refunds, or exchanges. Cosmetics, skin care, or any items that might fall under a related category are not eligible for exchange or return due to sanitary reasons.

If you are sending the item back to exchange or return for any other reason you are responsible for the return shipping costs. 

We highly recommend keeping the return tracking receipt.  Eco After is not responsible for any lost return packages due to carrier issues.

NOTE:  You MUST include your order number in the email to standup@zumbase.com.  We will ask for this information before proceeding with your return.


Refund procedure

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  Once approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-7 business days.  (M-F and No Holidays)

Not all products are applicable for returns, refunds, or exchanges so read product descriptions carefully.  Please note shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you wish to exchange, we will need to have the item you wish to get in exchange before we can proceed and fulfill the exchange request (in addition to receiving back the item you initially purchased).  Shipping fees will not be refunded.

Shipping

 

We currently offer USPS First Class shipping (3-5 business days, plus Saturday delivery).  Orders typically ship out within one (1) business day from our office in California.

 

Holidays and weather conditions may play a role in your package arriving on time. Once again, we appreciate your patience and thank you for shopping with us. If you have any questions concerning shipping, please email us. 

We currently ship to the United States, but plan to expand to other countries in the future. Please check back with us to see about worldwide shipping.

Zumbase is not responsible for items returned due to incorrect or faulty information provided by the purchaser.  Zumbase may contact the purchaser in order to resolve issues for items that have been returned due to incorrect information.

Zumbase will package items adequately as determined necessary to prevent damage, but will also package in order to be most efficient and reduce waste.  Items damaged due to carrier mishandling and abuse are known issues and may not be covered by Zumbase guarantee or return policies, however we will be glad to work with you to resolve issues.

Zero Waste Shipping Goals



All of our products are packaged and shipped using recycled materials whenever possible. We use paper tape, post-consumer boxes, paper wrapping, and recyclable/compostable mailers UNLESS we run out and have to use conventional shipping materials in which case we will recycle materials which have been sent to us whenever possible.  Some objects which are fragile may be shipped with cellophane or other wrapping to insure safety during shipping, we would like to avoid this when possible but must prioritize the integrity of the packaging due to rough handling during shipping.
